let's get rolling

Hello dear readers,

I am still technically on summer hiatus from the newsletter, but I wanted to pop in real quick and talk about an event I’m doing in two weeks.

It’s Side Quest’s birthday this month and as part of their celebratory event lineup the lovely Caroline (bookshop proprietor extraordinaire) asked if I would like to be in a D&D one-shot along with four other amazing authors. To which my answer was a resounding YES!

I am drawing up my character sheet. I am thinking of names. I am contemplating backstory. I am… a little nervous at the thought of playing in front of a live audience tbh, but mostly I’m just really excited!

So if you’re in the Boston area and watching some authors roll dice and play pretend for a little while sounds like your idea of a fun time, clear your schedules for August 26th and get your tickets now.
